GREETINGS!!! My name is Dr. Jessica Winston. I am married to Jonathan, and we have three amazing children (Anna, Ethan, and Harper).

I AM SO EXCITED ABOUT THE 2024-2025 SCHOOL YEAR!! IT IS SURE TO BE AN AMAZING JOURNEY AS WE ACHIEVE WINSTONISM!!

The common practice is that Mrs. Winston will instruct, and all students

will actively listen, intuitively learn, authentically participate, and

respectively ask questions. It shall remain common practice that every

student that enters this classroom will understand that they are being

transformed into English Scholars.

Through my teaching experience, I have found the technique of facilitating, rather than dictating to be a highly favorable style of teaching. If students assist in constructing their own learning experiences, they will not only retain information longer, but they will also become more optimistic in their abilities.

Favorite Part of Educating: The “light-bulb phenomenon” is what I call it. When a student productively struggles while being guided by me there is something that "sparks" causing the student to understand the concept or skill being taught.
